The raffle for the Nina Chanel Abney Jordan 3 is live now HERE. It is expected to remain up for an hour, closing at 3PM ET. The shoes retail for $225. Beyond this initial release, a SNKRS drop is still planned for June 20th; a SNKRS Pass occurred on June 12th with pick-ups at the MoMA Design Store in SoHo, NYC.

The NYC contemporary artist released her first collaborative Jordan capsule in 2022, delivering two re-crafted Air Jordan 2s along with an acclaimed apparel collection. This latest installment marries one of the region’s leading creatives with one of the biggest silos in the Air Jordan line, a fusion that’s already been met with great buzz and anticipation from the sneaker community.

Taken in a green mix of “Bicoastal” and “Malachite,” Nina Chanel re-imagines the hardwood classic with a canvas base and suede hits near the toe, collar, heel, and eyelets, with “Fossil” on the midsole, lining, and heel panel. The shoe’s most defining feature, however, is the plush “Nike Air” branding that graces the rear, an iconic insignia that’s fine-tuned to Nina Chanel’s design ethos. Other noteworthy details include rope laces, orange co-branding on the inner portion of the tongue, and checkerboard insoles, not to mention a special shoe box. All in all, the design does a fine job of driving the storied basketball silhouette towards the lifestyle genre with thoughtful design choices.
